In this paper, we attempt to formulate the hotel revenue maximization as a optimal control problem through queuing theory. We introduce queuing theory thoroughly and describe the applications of queuing theory to a system such as hotels by describing an algorithm that applies to the parameters of a hotel system. We then compare dynamic pricing for hotels to other methods of pricing hotel rooms.en_US
