Department: Electrical Engineering
Class Year: 2015
Abstract: Motion sensing and gesture control systems using capacitive sensing have been demonstrated through prototypes to be robust for interaction with large displays. There are high potential applications that can be explored by adapting this system to a wearable context. This thesis documents the progress in experimenting and prototyping in the process of building a wearable gesture control system using capacitive sensing. Current results indicate that a wearable system is a feasible opportunity for intuitive human-computer interaction
