Title: | The Pursuit of Objectivity: A Worthwhile Journey With No Destination |

Abstract: | This thesis investigates the notion of a completely objective complete description of reality called the Absolute Conception. I construct and assess the most plausible framework for attaining such a description of reality. While the framework substantiates how we can produce objective descriptions of parts of reality, I find that the Absolute Conception is ultimately impossible to achieve. We should therefore think of objectivity as a useful, but limited, tool. |
