Authors: Kaplan, Max
Advisors: Ahmadi, Amirali
Department: Operations Research and Financial Engineering
Class Year: 2016
Abstract: Using the static constraints of the London Underground ("Tube") like stations, tracks, trains, and aggregate consumer demand, I attempt to improve the subway system network by reworking the subway map and optimizing scheduling to minimize average passenger travel time. I will also attempt to create a GuinnessWorld Record breaking route for the Subway Challenge in New York.
