Throughout American history, groups with diverse backgrounds have continued to make disparate decisions as a result of their behavioral habits, political viewpoints, and/or cultural backgrounds. Some of these decisions involve their attendance at public events, their involvement in affiliations, and their ability to purchase certain goods. In this thesis, I will be focusing on humans’ decisions to invest. I will be analyzing the diversity of investments in the United States, and how individuals with different cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses manage their assets differently. These differences will be evaluated and interpreted as an attempt to discover correlations between backgrounds and investment strategies, and to find ways to optimize portfolio management tactics across various United States’ residents.en_US
