Abstract: | Based on the tradition of American Pragmatism, the pragmatic framework calls for a scientific attitude towards evaluating ourselves and our interactions with reality. By focusing on the practical effects of our decisions in the world, I apply pragmatic thinking to achieving goals and argue for a more pragmatic view on ethics. Accordingly, careful consideration about the effects of our ethical beliefs and overall behavior will help us become better decision-makers and deal with reality effectively. |
