dc.description.abstractWe investigated the antiferromagnetic half-Heusler GdBiPt and found novel behavior in its electrical transport. We report a large Hall angle and a non-linear Hall component not yet understood. We also observed features in the magnetoresistance (MR) including negative MR and anisotropic MR. We compare some of our results to past experiments on GdBiPt and find that our batch of samples may be impure or otherwise defective, encouraging future research to see if purer samples of GdBiPt behave as exotically we report.en_US
